NEW FAMILY MEMBER

FEB 08,2008.Mew Delhi.The newest member of our family screamed his way into this world way ahead of his due date 21feb. My son,now a proud father,suddenly grew up in my eyes.AGAMPREET is blessed and so are we all to have him with us. Juni, my son, and Pratibha my d-in-law will make wonderful parents.
God bless them for this precious gift to us.

Tragedy in the family

Nirmala Chitti,our youngest maternal aunt and great friend of the family lost her only son-in-law Vishi,Sujata's husband in a tragic accident in Mauritius on 26 Jan 2008 night while attending an official meeting there.Suju was in Casablanca, Morocco with her five and a half yr old twin girls Anaga and Akshita. Vishi's brother is due to be married on Sun 03 Feb in Chennai.

The grief that now surrounds that family is incomprehensible;the world must hv come crashing down on suju,nirmal,the girls,vishi's parents,his brother,our maama's and maami'sand all of us.

jaya,kitchu,gana,raji and ds are all going to be there for the funeral on 30 Jan in Chennai. May God give them all strength to carry on this moment of grief.

My sincere prayers for every one.

Republic Day in India

January 26 is India's Republic day.It is celebrated with great pomp and show.A spectacular display of India's achievements in all areas is showcased,march pasts and colourful pageantry down Rajpath in the capital Delhi ends with a brilliant display of air power and air devilry by men from the Indian Air Force. It fills our hearts with pride at being an Indian.

It is one of the declared National holidays, the others being 02 October (Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday), and 15 August (Independance Day). Schools and offices remain closed and there is general patriotic fervour all around.
